Work Hard And It Will Pay Off

If you put your mind to it you can get it!


This summer, some neighborhood friends/sisters (https://anchor.fm/annie-rees) and I have been doing a workout routine every morning (not on the weekends) to train for our upcoming triathlon this fall. This routine consist of first feeding our spirit with a devotional at 6:30 am, then we meet outside at 7:00 am to do a P90X video workout (an intro video is linked above), next we run around a mile and we time our time to try to beat it. Finally, we end our workout with around a little over a mile bike ride. I say all of this to share with you that during this time, I can see myself and the girls that I do this with, becoming stronger spiritually and physically. Summer is a season to enjoy time to ourselves and with friends and family! It should not be a time where we lose everything that we have worked for during the school year, but a time to improve those skills. I will encourage you to set up some routine this summer; it could be like mine where I have 15 "To Do's List," or it could be where you try to wake up at the same time each morning (except for the weekends, haha). This will not only make you feel better but also more organized and productive. I am not trying to come across rude or judgmental, but I am just sharing with you what has worked and helped me!
